Description

Kiota is the Swahili word for Nest:

A safe place, where little ones can be cared for and nurtured so that they can get their wings to fly. Kiota School is a child centered institution that prides itself with providing an environment where children thrive. At the core of our approach is the nurturing of Christian and Biblical principles aimed at raising well rounded children.

Kiota School is a child-centered institution that offers an integrated curriculum that borrows from different systemsThis in effect entrenches versatility in readiness for a dynamic world.At the centre of our approach is to provide a nurturing and Biblically based learning environment that helps the little ones encounter God and learn Christian Principles from early on.

All lessons will cater to the child’s physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social development. At the end of the child’s kindergarten experience, they will be able to join a primary school of choice due to their exposure to a well-rounded foundation.We have chosen to work with both didactic and ICT tools delivered using Christian ethos.

Unique Features

Ballet

At Kiota we enjoy the expression of art through dance and this is through ballet. The students gleefully enjoy themselves as they sway gracefully to the music as they learn the various forms of dance often related to ballet.

Music

 

Expression of art through music. At Kiota, we offer a variety of musical instruments to the students ranging from Piano to Guitar to Drums to Violin.
